Project Overview
With the aim to create opportunities for children and adolescents to receive religious and moral education, and to establish a safe, welcoming, and regular learning environment at the local level, an initiative was undertaken to establish the Babar Ali–Amena Begum Maktab with the courtesy support of Shoshi Foundation.
As the formal beginning of this initiative, the Maktab was officially inaugurated on 18 July 2026 in 6 No. West Ratail, Kashiani, Gopalganj. The inauguration was intended not only to create a more structured opportunity for local children to receive religious education, but also to raise awareness among parents and community members about the importance of Maktab-based learning.
The event, arranged with the courtesy support of Shoshi Foundation, became a meaningful and joyful occasion through the active participation of local residents, parents, children, and community members.

Objectives of the Project
The key objectives of establishing and inaugurating the Maktab were to:
- Create regular opportunities for children and adolescents to receive religious education.
- Provide an environment for Quranic learning, basic Islamic knowledge, and the development of moral values.
- Encourage children to develop qualities such as discipline, honesty, compassion, and mutual respect.
- Make religious and moral education more accessible to children from local families.
- Encourage parents to recognize the importance of religious and ethical education in their children’s development.
- Build a sustainable educational environment with the cooperation and involvement of the local community.
Inauguration Ceremony of the Maktab
The Babar Ali & Amena Begum Maktab was officially inaugurated on 18 July 2026 in 6 No. West Ratail, Kashiani, Gopalganj. The initiative was undertaken with the goal of providing local children with greater access to religious and moral education and establishing a consistent learning environment within the community.
The inauguration ceremony brought together residents, parents, children, adolescents, and other community members in a warm and celebratory atmosphere.
