Shoshi Foundation Provides Free Oxygen Services, PPE, Masks, Food, and Shallow Tubewells

Since 2011, the Shoshi Foundation has been working tirelessly. During the recent COVID-19 crisis, the foundation provided essential medical services including modern oxygen concentrators and cylinders, PPE, and masks, all funded by their resources. They also distributed food items and supported environmental conservation through tree planting and creating bird habitats.

On July 23, in Kashiani Upazila, Gopalganj District, Shoshi Foundation’s Chairperson, Sabina Yasmin, distributed 4 oxygen cylinders, PPE, and masks at a 100-bed health complex. The event was attended by Dr. SM Shahidul Islam, Police Superintendent, and other local officials.

In addition, the foundation provided oxygen cylinders, an oxygen concentrator machine, and training on its use to health workers. They also distributed food items and installed 6 shallow tube wells for needy families in the Ratail Union. Chairman of Ratail Union, Harun-ar-Rashid Pinu, praised the foundation’s efforts in supporting the underprivileged. Sabina Yasmin highlighted the foundation’s ongoing work in training and distributing sewing machines, computers, and other social initiatives. The event was also attended by members of the Awami League and local reporters.
