Free Emergency Oxygen Supply for Critical COVID-19 Patients in Kashiani, Gopalganj
Shoshi Foundation Provides Free Emergency Oxygen Support for Critical COVID-19 Patients in Kashiani, Gopalganj.
During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, oxygen scarcity became one of the most critical challenges in saving lives across Bangladesh, particularly in rural and underserved areas. As the number of infections rapidly increased, many hospitals and families struggled to arrange adequate oxygen support, especially for critically ill patients.
Recognizing this urgent need, through the 100-bed upazila health complex, Shoshi Foundation initiated an emergency oxygen support program to provide immediate, life-saving intervention in Ratoil, Kashiani, and Gopalganj District.

On July 23, 2020, the chairperson of the Shoshi Foundation, Sabina Yasmin, provided oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrators, PPE, and essential medical support to patients in need. The programme was associated with pioneer acupuncture and pain specialist Dr. S. M. Shahidul Islam, PhD, PPM, and other local officers.
