PROJECT OVERVIEW
Shoshi Foundation has been actively engaged in providing acupuncture treatment and conducting research in Bangladesh since 2019 at the SUO XI Hospital (Acupuncture). Under the supervision of pioneer acupuncture Dr. S.M. Shahidul Islam Phd, PPM, the foundation continues to deliver integrated healthcare services that combine traditional Chinese acupuncture with modern therapeutic approaches.
This ongoing initiative focuses on offering effective, non-invasive treatment solutions for patients suffering from chronic pain and complex health conditions. Alongside patient care, the foundation is also committed to advancing research and expanding knowledge in the field of acupuncture and integrative medicine.

Acupuncture Treatment Research & Clinical Approach
Shoshi Foundation follows an evidence-informed approach supported by continuous clinical practice and learning. Acupuncture treatments are currently being provided at SUO XI Hospital as part of an ongoing research-based initiative, where real patient cases contribute to practical insights and treatment development.
The experience gained from treating a diverse range of conditions helps improve therapeutic approaches and supports the advancement of acupuncture practice in Bangladesh. The project is being actively carried out through ongoing patient care, clinical practice, and structured treatment sessions under the professional supervision of Pioneer Acupuncture in Bangladesh, Dr. S.M.Shahidul Islam, PhD, PPM. Acupuncture treatments are provided at SUO XI Hospital, where patient care is closely integrated with research and continuous clinical learning.
This setup allows each treatment session to contribute not only to patient recovery but also to a deeper understanding of acupuncture outcomes.
